A Vision Turned Into Action
Heart of Hands, Inc., is more than an organization—it is a reflection of Cassandra’s lived experience that was turned into purpose. She founded it from a place of compassion, and a commitment to foster children in need and the families that care for them. Every item, act of service, and partnership is rooted in her understanding of what the children need to thrive.

The Founder
As a dedicated foster parent, Cassandra has opened her home and heart to children who were navigating some challenging transitions in life. Through firsthand experience, she has seen the practical and emotional cracks that often come alongside children in care. Her experiences became the catalyst for a greater purpose which is to help children feel prepared, seen, and supported.
Along with fostering, she is a facilitator for foster and adoptive parent classes for Henry County’s Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS). She assists in educating, encouraging, and equipping caregivers with the necessary tools, knowledge, and confidence that is essential to providing foster youth with a safe and nurturing home environment. This opportunity allows her to make an impact on individual families as well as the community of caregivers dedicated to making a difference.
She also serves as Vice President of the Henry County Foster Parent Association by advocating for foster families and children at the local level. She works alongside DFCS personnel by helping to build connections, strengthen resources for foster families, and ensuring the voices of those within the foster community are heard and supported.
Leading with Heart
Cassandra is fueled by compassion and commitment. She leads with integrity, compassion, empathy, and a clear vision of purpose. The work is more than a mission, it is PURPOSE DRIVEN.
